I'm not happy with the header I made for this blog. It was supposed to be an epic representation of digital community and virtual infinity. Instead, it's a limited-palette GIF with uneventful geometric shapes faded into a linear background. And it took two hours on photoshop to get there. It's really hard to represent the interwebz.
Don't believe me? Google-image 'Internet'. What you get are branched webs that look like a messy ball of motor-neurons, screenshots of scattered windows, or the icon of that god-awful IE browser. There is no just no good way of reifying the internet into a standard symbol. Maybe it is just too abstract, too dynamic to be easily represented.
Regardless, I need a new header. It bothers me.
