I just can't do it.You see, Twitter requires a certain level of narcissism that I don't think even I am capable of. I just don't have anything important enough to say that the whole world needs to know about. My day-to-day life is pretty damn banal. And I don't think that anyone wants to know about sort of breakfast cereal I'm having or how many essays I haven't finished.
...Or maybe this is just a naive view of Twitter and my uneventful lifestyle updates aren't really what it's all about. I've noticed a lot of people seem to participate in and perpetuate the trending topics. Maybe I'm supposed to be directing my posts towards what other people are talking about. Because at this point, it doesn't feel like I'm tweeting to anyone.
