Blogging Back Through Time

Although everything I post here is time-stamped, most of the times are false.

By changing the date and time, I can reorganize the way posts appear on my blog. Even better, I can make it look like I've been actively updating when I haven't. For the newcomer, it appears that I'm pretty diligent in shrugging off one or two posts a week, but in reality, I suddenly feel inspired, write a whole bunch of posts at once, and then carefully insert them back in time.

I don't know if this is something that a lot of other people do. I find it helpful though in placing things where I want to be and when they should have been written. I also tend to go back and edit/rewrite older posts. The problem with this is that if anyone is frequently reading the blog,1 many of my newer posts appear in the archive rather than front and centre on the home page.

1 Which I kind of doubt. But I have no idea if anyone is reading this- Blogger doesn't seem to offer stats on this, unlike other blogging platforms.
